OVERVIEW
DJ Mag’s annual Top 100 DJs event in Amsterdam is one of the most anticipated moments in music. Without the possibility of organising the usual awards show for 40.000 dance music fans during ADE, BAAS came up with a unique collaboration between DJ Mag and Snapchat to make sure the awards kept their Dutch touch. During DJ Mag’s online awards show, Amsterdammers could see through Snapchat’s camera how the Royal Palace on Dam Square was transformed into a stage in augmented reality, on which David Guetta appeared larger-than-life as this year’s winner.
